Located on Okhla Road, the Escorts Heart Institute and Research Center is in a class of its own. It deals in tertiary care with regard to cardiac diseases. Safdarjung Hospital


Safdarjung hospital in Delhi is one of the oldest hospitals in the capital city. It was set up during the Second World War. At that point of time, the hospital was mainly established for the allied forces. However, in due course the hospital was been taken over by Indian government. The facilities and services in this hospital are upgraded on a regular basis. The hospital has as many as 1531 beds and more are being added every year.

Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital


The Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital is situated at Raghubir Nagar Colony in the western part of Delhi. This is a government hospital and was set up to cater to the medical needs of the people living in and around the colony. It took 2 years to complete the construction of the hospital. It started way back in 1993. The final finishing touches of the hospital were given in 1995. The services and the facilities offered by the hospital have been upgraded. And the same is done on a regular basis.

Maharishi Balmiki Hospital


This is one of the government hospitals in Delhi. The Maharishi Balmiki Hospital is located at Pooth Khurd in the north western part of the capital city. The hospital offers free medical service to the people of the place. The area on which the hospital is located is 8.10 hectares. The hospital caters to the medical needs of approximately 8.5 lakh people residing in and around the area.
