Alwar also known as Ulwar is located at a distance of 150 km from the Pink city- Jaipur and at a distance of 160 km from the capital city of the country – Delhi. Alwar was founded by Kachawa Rajput who belonged to Macheri. His name was Rao Pratap Singh. The city of Alwar was built in the year 1775. Alwar is situated amidst the Aravalli ranges.
